Friday Fun Day we headed up to Heise area to catch bugs and fish. We could do this every day, they love it so much. I look forward to the day that William can walk so I don't have to hold him all the time (he gets squirmy in the stroller really quick).
Hailey found this caterpillar and fell instantly in love.
Matthew just had to have one so Curt helped him find one as well.
After finding a bunch of really cool bugs (including the BIGGEST bumblebee and wolf spider I have ever seen) we headed downriver a ways to a cool little fishing spot. The kids didn't last long before they started throwing rocks in and Curt's reel had issues so we just enjoyed the rest of the evening catching salmon flies and ants and throwing rocks.
On the way back Curt stopped for a minute to try to catch a rattle snake (we stayed in the car!). When he came back he didn't bring a snake....but he brought me something much better. Always a romantic

This little guy is such a mama's boy I can't believe it. We thought Hailey was clingy but William takes the cake.
So much for the $9 car wash. Sheesh. WE NEED A TRUCK. Why do we not have a truck?

Here's Oscar the lizard. This one must have had a hard life. He was missing an eye and a leg.

i could smooch your kids's faces off they are so cute!!!! willie looks like baby jexten in a couple of those pics. do you think curt was really going to catch a rattle snake, or was that just a cover for surprising you with those wonderfully beautiful flowers?!!;) "oscar" reminds me of all the lizards we would catch and keep as "pets" in holbrook. WHAT FUN!!
