Some of our little friends

So years ago we had some neighbors that raised a couple of ducks and released them at the duck park but they must've found their way "home."  Not sure if the Jones' still read our blog, but if you do I'm pretty sure these are your ducks.  They come back every year!!!  Could be their posterity though.  It's fun for the kids to go to the canal and feed bread to the ducks!  We look forward to it every year.

 I am hoping he crawls soon, but OH MAN I need to babyproof first!!!!

 William still likes to be swaddled to sleep.  My first baby that lets me just wrap him up, turn on the white noise and walk out to let him fall asleep on his own.  I do still like to rock him to sleep whenever he lets me though!

 This was a fun morning of movie and cookies! (what? no, we never eat cookies before breakfast here!)  These two are so funny.  They love to be in the same room, and sharing as much space as possible whether fighting or being friends.  Luckily MOST of the time they get along well.

 This little dude that turned out to actually be a mama squirrel frequents our porch and I just couldn't say no when matthew wanted to throw out some peanuts for it.

Tonsillectomy

Matthew got his tonsils taken out a little over a week ago.  He is doing so good!  His recovery was really fast and he was a trooper.  I think he is much happier now.  He eats way more than he used to and he doesn't snore anymore so that makes Hailey happy!  No more lion in matthew's room at night! :)

 the nurse gave the ok to him to push the up and down buttons all he wanted to and gave us the ok to flip the control switch under the bed whenever we'd had enough!!  We just let him have fun

 This was just after they administered the light sedative.  He was so hilarious!  

 He was most unsure about the I.V. but we had put numbing cream on his hand before we left home so he didn't really feel it.  

 Vicky and Kurt came up for Adessa and Jexten's spring break so that worked out well!  I think it helped Matthew recover faster because he really wanted to play with Jexten. and of course Hailey was thrilled to spend time with Adessa!

Still not what I'd call super warm here, but we're loving any sun we get!  William's starting to be a thumb sucker (oh no!) but he's as cute as ever.

Curt proved that sledding in the grass still brings joy to children :)  As long as you've got a daddy with lots of endurance and willingness!

Sometimes it's just too windy for William to go out but he loves to watch out the window!

 The batman bike lives on (within a pink zebra haha) Hailey wanted it pink of course and Curt is so great to oblige.

The Telfords came to Rexburg for BYU-I graduation and stayed with us!  It was a quick trip but we were so happy to see them!!!  Braden and Matthew played really well together and so did Brynlie and Hailey, I'm just  bummed that these are they only pictures I took.  But here's a glimpse at the fun-ness! 

Easter Activities

We had an amazingly fun ward Easter potluck on Saturday!  The egg hunt was awesome and the kids were able to die  (haha oops, DYE)  eggs and make fruit loop necklaces and play with friends. The weather was beyond perfect. 

 Here's the kids' outfits.  I stayed up too late finishing the ties and hailey's hairbow so my brain wasn't working on Easter and I didn't get a picture of them all dolled up.  Matthew ended up not wearing either the tie that came with the shirt or the yellow one I made to match William's, but that's ok.  He picked out a perfect navy and yellow tie that he already had anyways so it was all good!  I will have to get a picture another time.

It was so nice after Church so we spent the evening outside playing.

I am so grateful for my Savior and for the Atonement.  I love Easter and the chance we have to celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.  Families can be together forever because of Him.
