We went to Tautphus Park Zoo with my parents and my sister and her two kids in July. That was way fun and the animals were beautiful. Thanks grandma Janet and grandpa Kit!

Matthew had such a good time at the Zoo! It was a blistering hot day and we were all sweating, but it was way fun!
This picture was at Bear Lake over the 4th of July weekend. The trip was amazing! The only bad part was when I lost my wedding ring in the lake never to be found again. That devestated Curt and I, but we still made a good trip out of the whole thing, and I have a new ring now to replace my old one. Terrible loss though. Thanks to everyone who helped us search in the water and sand for hours anyway. 
Matthew loves to swing. The only problem is that he usually doesn't get to enjoy it for very long before he goes to sleep. What a cutie!

This was on the 4th of July just before we went to the Parade in Paris, Idaho. See how alert and happy he is here (mostly because he's with grandma Janet. I love how much he loves her!)
As soon as we got to the parade Matthew slept clear through it! He missed his very first parade and then he pulled the exact same thing later that night when we went to his first fireworks show! 
Adessa sure enjoyed the parade. She gathered enough candy for everybody! By the time she was done running around gathering candy she was sweating so hard and her cute curly hair was in tighter ringlettes than ever!
