Matthew got his hearing aid yesterday! It makes him hear a lot more stuff, but it is not perfected yet. It seems like he hears all the background noises he was missing, like people chewing, walking feet, radio, tv, but being able to hear everything else makes it still kind of hard to hear people talking. He has another appointment coming up in 2 weeks to correct all the little things like that we notice. Still the same though it is a miracle that he got it so fast and how much it helps him!! It seems like he feels more in tune with the world around him and not so spacey. We feel super blessed and happy for him, and he is so happy! He won't stop talking and every body he comes across that hasn't seen it yet he point to it and says "hearing aid, see this? yes I like it!"

gosh, now he's gonna have to turn it down when he plays with jexten!:) sweet matthew. i am glad he likes it!
